TERMS — CUTFAST

 

This section applies to CutFast, our Adobe Premiere Pro plugin. It governs your purchase and use of that software only. Our services are covered in their own section, and nothing below applies to them.

 

1. WHAT YOU ARE BUYING

A monthly or yearly subscription licence to use the CutFast plugin: Basic on one computer at a time, Complete on up to three computers at a time. You may move your licence between your own computers using the controls in the plugin. You do not own the software; you hold a licence to use it while your subscription is active.

 

2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish the software, or remove or alter its licensing. You may not represent CutFast as your own product.

 

3. THIRD PARTY SERVICES

Some CutFast features send text to our AI provider. Every paid plan includes CutFast AI credits: up to USD 10 of that usage per licence per calendar month, run through ALM Media’s own account with our AI provider, with no key needed and nothing extra billed to you. Unused credits do not roll over and have no cash value. When a month’s credits are used up, the AI features pause until the next month, unless you switch to your own API key in Settings; usage on your own key is then billed to you by the AI provider under their terms. Any other third party service you connect, such as an AI image or video generator, runs on your own account with that provider. Speech transcription runs entirely on your own computer and requires no third party service.

 

4. YOUR CONTENT

Your video, audio, transcripts and projects remain yours. ALM Media does not access or store them. When you use an AI feature on the included credits, the text of that request passes through ALM Media’s relay, as the Privacy Policy describes. See the CutFast section of our Privacy Policy.

 

5. AVAILABILITY

CutFast is software you install and run yourself. It is not a hosted service. We do not guarantee compatibility with future versions of Adobe Premiere Pro, though we intend to maintain it.

 

6. REFUNDS

See the CutFast section of our Refund Policy.

 

7. LIABILITY

CutFast is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALM Media is not liable for any loss of data, loss of work, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the software. Our total liability for CutFast is limited to the amount you have paid us for CutFast in the twelve months before the claim. Always keep backups of your projects, as you would with any editing software.

 

8. ENDING YOUR LICENCE

You may cancel at any time. We may end your licence if you breach this section, in which case we will refund any unused portion of your current period.
